We are continuing to gather...

In the 1830s French diplomat Alexis de Tocqueville came to our young county to find the secret to the unprecedented success of this baby nation. "I sought for the key to the greatness and genius of America in her harbors, in her fertile fields and boundless forests. In her rich mines and vast world commerce, in her public school system and institutions of learning. I sought for it in her democratic Congress and in her matchless constitution. Not until I went into the churches of American and heard here pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great, because America is good; and if America ever ceases to be good, she will also cease to be great."

God's Word says it this way:

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. — Proverbs 14:34

What does that have to do with our decision to keep gathering this month? EVERYTHING! If there is any hope for personal, neighborhood, or national REVIVAL, the Bride of Christ in America must boldly proclaim and display the glory revealed in the Gospel of God's amazing GRACE! So. We. Gather.

We will continue to follow the physical distancing guidelines you all practiced wonderfully this past weekend. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THEM HERE.

In addition to joining us this Sunday, please be aware of and PRAYING FOR THE FOLLOWING items concerning our faith family:

  • Our landlord (Southwest Indian Ministries) has continued to honor the exemption in the Governor’s recent proclamation for our gathering at their facility. Pray they continue to keep this line of thinking.

  • S.W.I.M. cannot guarantee that we will be able to continue to use their facility in August and beyond. This is because Redemption Church is looking to move onto the entire campus.

    • Although Kerry and I are still looking for other options, as of right now, there are NONE.

    • PLEASE BE IN PRAYER that God would lead us to see how He will provide.

    • If you have ideas, I'd love to hear them.

  • We have canceled the Water Slide Fun Day for July 12th. We are looking at other dates/options but without knowing where we could be in August, this is hard to plan for.

  • As of right now, we are still moving forward with the Marriage Retreat on July 24-25. Because it is a church gathering (exempt event) and is only 2 days from the scheduled state-wide reopening on July 27th, we are praying the Boulders Resort will be accommodating. THERE ARE CURRENTLY 37 COUPLES REGISTERED! Praise the LORD! 🙏🏻

If I haven't mentioned it lately, I AM SO PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST! And proud to be called your pastor. MUCH love!

Keep Looking UP! Luke 21:28
