What does it look like to live in freedom?
Don’t forget you’re freed (by holding on to your sin)
Don’t let others (or yourself or the enemy) place you back in bondage
ARE YOU BOUND? Maybe by things or people or circumstances you don’t even know enslave you? Fear of man, struggles with thoughts, addiction issues... These are all things that cause us to live chained up, and keep us from living the FREED LIFE in Christ He went to the cross to give to us. But we NEED NOT live this way!
He canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. — Colossians 2.14
This Sunday we continue the series, “I still AM!” We will look at Chapter 2 of this wonderful book as see that the complete FORGIVENESS offered in Jesus Christ can let us live COMPLETELY FREE from the bondage we (or sometimes others) can place us in.
So join me on Sunday as we ‘gather’ to see our Redeemer to be the ONE who still offers freedom from sin’s bondage. But don’t just watch the message — ENGAGE in our whole worship experience — prayer, singing, teaching time, discussion questions — with us.
