Hello Church Family,
Over the weekend, Jeff Abney sent out an email about the church giving update. In that email, he spoke
about identifying the needs within the church as they relate to those who need assistance whether that
be financial or physical.
We are currently journeying through some uncharted territory as we attempt to exercise caution in
protecting ourselves and those around us from the COVID-19 virus. However, as followers of Christ, we are to be on the front lines serving those who are suffering. This isour opportunityto share the truth of the Gospel by being there for those that don’t know Him and also to love on those who may be struggling!
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. - Philippians 2:3
ACTION ITEMS:
* Pray earnestly and be willing to serve those WITHIN our Body and also those in our communities and neighborhoods.
* The Cornerstone Compassion Ministry needs your help in identifying those who need assistance during this hard time. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance please let us know.
* If you have ideas onwho or how to help, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.
We can’t do this alone, we need and encourage your help in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through compassionately LOOKING out for those that have needs!
